A Fool Can Be A Good Thing
Was doing some research for the Tarot Card deck I want to make.
I found out there are 72 cards in a deck.. whoa! that's a lot more then I thought. I than found this cool site called the Daily Tarot Card Girl that shows you all the Tarot Cards and their meaning. I will pop the link below for anyone who wants to see their meanings or for anyone else who might want to make a deck.

Turns out the first card is the fool. That actually stumped me 'cause I wasn't sure how to convey that. The meaning also confused me a little. I actually have heard of the fools card but always thought it was a card that if you got it- meant you were a fool of sorts. And it does in a way. But after reading the meaning on Daily Tarot Card Girls website, I see the card differently and am actually excited to make it.
Here is it's meaning: New Beginnings, Optimism, Trust
The Fool is a journeyer of life, who sets out on his grand adventure without a map, trusting that life will lead him in right direction and everything will turn out splendidly! He represents the adventurous, joyful and carefree spirit within all of us.
The part I really loved was how Daily Tarot Card Girl told us how to apply it to ourselves.

- You are about to begin a new life phase, project, job, adventure
- You know where you want to go, but don’t know how to get there
- You are heading into something with blind optimism (which could either help or hinder you)
Inquiry
- Imagine what your life would be like with the absence of fear – what would it be like to be free to pursue your dreams?
- Where in your life are you like The Fool?
- How do you feel about people who embody The Fool – do they irritate you? Inspire you?
Action
- Take a leap of faith! Focus on the NOW and don’t worry so much about HOW to get to where you want to be.
- Align yourself with the bright eyed and bushy-tailed aspect of The Fool
- Be optimistic and do your research before making any big decisions
I went from hating the card to loving it. I now have so many ideas on how I want to design the fools card
