A livable cabinet of curiosities, oh my

Working on a bunch of new mixed media pieces that have whole room scenes.  Some of these rooms have been in my head for a while and some are ones that were inspired in the moment.

This first picture was inspired by a house in Brooklyn know as a livable cabinet of curiosities.
I actually made a few different drafts but settled on this version because I liked it best.

Think I went a little creepier with it then I had initially intended because we are approaching October and so I think a little spookiness crept in.

The House In Brooklyn  know as a livable cabinet of curiosities.
House in Brooklyn know as the house of curiosities. This is the house that inspired my piece up there^^

This second piece was inspired by another house in Brooklyn called there's a jungle in Brooklyn.
The woman who lives in the house named Summer Rayne Oakes  is an Environmentalist, and her house has plants everywhere, literally floor to ceiling!. So when making my piece I tried to capture that environment. I even included a few wild animals like the fox and bear for extra drama.  I will included the link to the her video where you can see her house.

~The artist loft~

This third one was inspired by an amazing art studio I saw in Manhattan once many years ago when I was a messenger- The artist had all these art installations hanging from his ceiling made of feathers. So here I made my own art installations, the big pink lips over the windows and the ceiling is spray painted with a galaxy design. I added one of my mermaid designs to the back wall as a mural.  I spent days painstakingly choosing and creating every little detail you see in every room I've created. In this one, I  made an artist loft that I would live in~
